About Peaks Art Fairs

An Inclusive Model

Inspired by a changed world post-pandemic, exhibition executive Kevin O’Keefe, and his partner (and daughter) marketing executive Briana Dolan, both artists, wanted to create a new model of fine art fair that would be most beneficial to artists, galleries, art collectors and buyers. Both had noted over the years that most major art shows in hubs like Miami and New York had a less than welcoming atmosphere and a high level of duplication in both galleries and artists shown.

The model conceived by the father-daughter duo would be elegant, fun, inclusive of a wide range of presented media, and welcoming to all. Buyers would be able to purchase works from an impressive selection of (1) curated independent artists from the region (2) the nation’s top sculptors, including those fabricating large-scale works for events like Burning Man (3) better galleries and studios from all over the world and (4) top Native American artists and sculptors.

To further delight collectors and buyers, film, music, dance and drama from the region and around the world would also be featured.

RTIA Show a Success

Geographically stunning, Reno is nestled in a sweeping valley beneath the majestic Sierra Nevada skyline. Close by and above the city is the beautifully pristine Lake Tahoe with over 80 miles of shoreline and soaring mountain vistas. Long home to a significant arts community, the region has been discovered by many talented artists and more than 200,000 affluent new residents from everywhere.

Over the past 2 years alone more than $6 billion in luxury real estate has been acquired and thousands of luxury redesigns and new residences are underway.

Launched in September 2022, the RTIA Show featured a floor plan of 50,000 square feet,  hundreds of exhibitors, and thousands of buyers responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars in art sold. In 2023, RTIA Show doubled in size, exhibitors, audience and sold art and in September 2024, it finished at 160,000’, 320 exhibitors from 22 countries – and nearly 5,000 collectors and buyers from 28 states and 10 countries. A lot of art was sold, and this happened in the middle of a state of emergency in Washoe County with a nearby 8,000-acre fire burning.

In 2025 RTIA Show returns with a well curated, elegant presentation to buyers from over 350 galleries, studios, sculptors, independents, Native American artists and bespoke furniture designers from all over the globe. As always, RTIA Show features the best of Burning Man 2025 sculpture, on stage Talks, Short film programming from the International Cordillera Film Festival of Reno Tahoe, and music and drama from University of Nevada, Reno.

Peaks is Born

Salt Lake Art Show to be introduced May 2026

The majestic Wasatch Range and great Salt Lake region is home to 90% or 3 million of those who live in Utah. The dense concentration of affluent art buyers- within a 15-mile radius of the show’s location at the Mountain America Expo Center, makes this place a natural fit for a fine art fair.

Also key is that Salt Lake, like Reno Tahoe, is a magnet for affluent residents leaving the west coast and other parts of the country. Its population has increased by 20% over the past several years alone.

The Salt Lake Art Show will follow the same successful model experienced in Reno Tahoe.

Inclusive, welcoming, elegant, well promoted internationally, nationally and regionally. The Salt Lake Art Show will be completely engaged with the community museums, University, film, music and drama.

We welcome you to the destination art fairs of the West and look forward to seeing you in Reno Tahoe and in Salt Lake. – Kevin & Briana
